Rewrote a production pipeline processing 100M+ records — from 12 hours down to under 2. Introduced DuckDB into a 181-table migration pipeline, cutting processing from 2 hours to 10 minutes. Backend features across a multi-service Java + Spring architecture with RabbitMQ. As an intern, built a custom NiFi processor that outperformed the proposed Spark solution — adopted as the basis of an internal product.
